Blackpool - The Next Las Vegas?

Blackpool's bid to become the next Las Vegas is well underway.

With casino hotels planned and huge £1m bandit machine jackpots, it's no wonder why They are keen to win the bid. Although there are some objections to the new "super" casino. Many people feel that it will spoil the whole reputation of the town as being a major family oriented town.

A local reverend Mr Michael Fielding recently stated: "This quantum leap in gambling opportunity will inevitably bring in people who will become casualties, lose a lot of money and end up on the streets".

Is this the new face of Blackpool?

Only time will tell.....
